SANTA CRUZ BIBLE CHURCH

Santa Cruz Bible Church commissioned the design of a 1,000 seat worship center with the specific design direction that it not “look like a church”. They also wanted it to be flexible enough to function equally as well as a multi-purpose room and gymnasium. The square foot building was completed in 2000.

The two-story building has a large multi-purpose room that seats 1,000 for worship with a substantial stage along one end or two full-size basketball courts. The first floor also includes a commercial kitchen, nursery, restrooms and prayer chapel. Classrooms and a sound proff rooms which overlook the main auditorium are located on the second floor.

A Children’s Ministry building was added and an Adult Education building. The Adult Education building houses the church offices, classrooms, a coffee house and a wedding chapel. The Children’s ministry center has three specially themed large meeting spaces in addition to individual classrooms. There are both indoor and outdoor climbing walls incorporated into the design of the facility.
