MOUNT HERMON VACATION HOME

The client wanted a weekend retreat reminiscent of a 1900’s Mount Hermon summer cabin, while fulfilling their needs for a contemporary, private and comfortable getaway. They also wanted it to be ‘move-in ready’, including furnishings, art and accessories, dishes and linens.

The finished home has a private master suite including home office and workout room on the second floor. The main level has 2 guest rooms in addition to the living, dining, kitchen and laundry. The screen porch off the kitchen adds an additional 162 square feet of living space and leads to the hot tub deck. The detached garage is connected to the house by a covered walkway and arbor. A bocce ball court in the fenced backyard adds to the sense of the cabin as ‘playhouse’.
