WHITEHEAD RESIDENCE

The design program called for the replacement of a 600 square foot cabin on the grounds of the Mount Hermon Christian Conference Center. The client desired a retreat home with large gathering spaces for family and holidays.

The finished 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath home is on a single level with a large living-dining-kitchen space and expansive glass in the living room to capture the forested view to the rear of the property. A large redwood deck is used for outdoor dining and connects the living spaces to the outdoors. A covered walkway connects the detached 2 car garage to the house.
